Summary
The second book in the FEATHERED series.
It hasn't been long since the missing Karasuno boys escaped the sinister government laboratory known as the Facility. On their own with nothing but each other and the new attributes they've been cursed with, they must battle with the aftermath of their past sufferings, all while trying to recover, survive, and stay one step ahead of the enemy.
After losing three of their own to the Facility's hands, new potential is revealed to have been lying dormant all along. But as it turns out, after having seen a news report about their memorial, the boys later find that nothing has been as they thought.
They weren't the only ones abducted by the Facility one year ago. The crows are not the only ones to have endured the cruelty of the Facility.
Now that their own have been taken, once again held captive alongside the others they never knew were there, the rest of the Murder won't leave them to suffer.
But even in freedom, is captivity, and even in unity, isolation.

What do you say to someone who is you and yet not, someone who was torn from their world while you got to (mostly) stay in yours, someone who has to take your place in this deadly splort and leave you even more powerless to protect anyone, someone who’s been forced into the impossible task of trying to live up to a legacy you were originally forced into all those years ago?
Dot certainly hasn't figured it out yet.
(A story about Dot trying to deal with the consequences of staying in their own world, working at becoming a pitching coach, getting advice from some old friends, and bonding with Alto.)
