Inhale. The self-loathing's bubbling at the water's surface, carbonated and bitter, fizzling with loud pops.
Exhale. His hand reaches up to flutter at the surface, to no avail. Fingers twitch at his countertop, pills sitting quietly at his palm. Head drowsy, Tim knows there's no use in trying to avoid this now. The whiskey dulls the edges back anyhow.
Inhale. It's not a cry for help. That implies he wants to be found.
OR
Tim tries to kill himself. In the aftermath, everyone else - his friends - try picking up the pieces.
Especially Lucy. (Even if he hurt her.)
