Scott Calvin is officially retiring as Santa and he means it, thing is, Cal also made an official decision to live as a human. The search for the next Santa is not news to the elves, but the condition of the search is absolutely baffling. Scott and Cal had dreams telling them to involve the former Mad Santa in their search. Trying to be a decent immortal being, Magnus is putting on shows and will never admit he wants more. Not like going back to evil more, but he feels co-running a fair isn't all there is to his life.
They narrow the candidates to four, one being Mitchell Pritchett, a down on his luck gay man with a dark past who just wants to spread joy in the world. He gives the love he's lacked and just hopes for better. it seems all too convenient for him when a guy who looks like Santa appears before him and treats him like a decent human being and maybe, just maybe...he's kinda falling for him.
