The door to the precinct was kicked open, everyone looked up from their business to see who had made the deafening noise. Two cops walked in, dragging in a woman in handcuffs. Strangely, the woman didn't fight back. She didn't even move. A red splotch marred her blond hair and droplets of blood dripped from her mouth. The splats of blood polka dotted the dirty tile in a line. Her feet dragged uselessly behind her, the rubber edges of her shoe soles bounced on the rain-slick tile below. Everyone's eyes followed the three as they made their way down to the interrogation room. It took a few moments after they disappeared down the hallway before things went back to normal. Well, as normal as things were going to get when everyone was wondering the same things. Who was that woman? Why is she so beat up? What did she do?

“How,” Miles bit out each word in regal disdain, “Is it possible to lose that much tea?”
“We’re hard at work trying to hunt it down, Your Highness!” Dick Gumshoe, head of the royal guard, was miserable at cover-ups. He scratched behind his head and pinched his face into a sheepish smile.
“I suggest you re-order your efforts. The longer you spend trying to hunt down an entire stock of misplaced tea canisters the longer that the conspirators have to cover their trail.”

“You ran away from me,” Miles says, breaking the awkward silence that was threatening to settle around them, “you kissed me and then you ran away.”
Miles has always been good at hiding his emotions, but his expression is absolutely steely now in a way that Phoenix has never seen it. He has no idea what Miles might be thinking, which is probably the scariest part of all this.
Phoenix swallows against the lump forming in his throat. “O-ob-objection?” he stutters out nervously.

MC loses their memory after releasing Belphegor, who attempts to murder them. They were spared, but the damage was irreparable. MC has to rebuild their relationships with the demon brothers and reacquaint with everything they ever knew in the Devildom. It's a tedious recovery when everyone knows more than MC, which makes adjusting difficult. They must cope and overcome old and new challenges that come with being a human surrounded by a world full of demons.
I tried my best to make MC gender-neutral but in smut chapters there will be two parts, one for fem and one for male, but it won't interfere with the storyline!
