Summary
Decades after a fatal crash that ended another rider's life and which ended his career, retired motorcycle racer Valentino Rossi finds a thing on his doorstep in Tavullia, Italy. A baby, to be more precise. There's a piece of writing sewed into its blanket: “Hello human. Marc is the last of our kind. Please ensure his survival. Many blessings from his brothers on Zukram.” Marc is Valentino’s first thought, running the familiar name over his tongue, a name that was familiar for all the wrong reasons, bringing with it a stab of pain that never seemed to fade. His second thought is: Mio dio, aliens are real.
OR,
An alien by the name of Marc from a planet where life aged approximately twelve times as fast as it did on Earth finds itself in the custody of one confused Italian man. Valentino Rossi thinks the universe is pulling a nasty trick on him, a divine intervention of sorts, and he wonders why his terminal illness isn't already punishment enough. But then again, perhaps this isn't punishment—perhaps it's the universe giving him one last chance at redemption.

Summary
Lewis’s knees somewhat turn to goo when he sees Sebastian offer him the biggest, most excited smile he’s ever seen on a man in his thirties.
“He likes me more than he likes you!” Sebastian laughs as Roscoe tries to nudge his large head into Sebastian’s palms.
Who can blame him? Lewis huffs internally as he sees Sebastian blow his dog little smooches into the air.

“That’s great, it’s clear that you’ve gotten a lot closer and if we could talk about that a bit more. Charles there’s a very brief interview of you leaving one of your hotels in Monaco and you’re quoted describing the relationship as “great” could you tell us a bit more about how you got to that point?”
Lewis looked over at Charles, eyebrows raised. “You were talking about me?” He teased, eyes filled with mirth at the thought of taunting the younger male.
“I always talk about you.”
“Good things I hope.” There were a couple of chuckles around the room.
“Of course, Of course! Ah apologies, Lewis has been great. It didn’t take a lot for us to get to where we are now, we spent quite a bit of time together over the summer shutdown and got used to each other outside of racing and I'm sure you’ll be able to see that once we get back onto the track.”
