At first, Dabi doesn't even notice, the dull thud of some brainless techno’s heavy bass downstairs masking the moaning one room over, but with the first deep grunt of “Oh my god, yes, Hawks, just like that, I’m gonna- “ he can’t seem to unhear it again.
The book falls onto his chest abandoned, his focus all but shot now, and he pushes his hands against his face with a groan, head pressing back into his pillow in exasperation.
“I fucking hate you, Takami.”
