Summary
Jigoro would always tell Zenitsu fantastical stories to send him off to bed. His favorite was a legend that life was a cycle or death and rebirth. When one life ended a connected one started and through it all there was always one person you were fated to meet drawn to each other like a moth to entrancing flame. His Gramps let him in a on small secret though, the link between one life and the next were the most strong in your dreams to which Zenitsu would giddily throw himself to bed afterwards.
Then as he got older the story became a silly children's tale.
Then as more time passed he began to hate it. Because if dreams were a look into past lives, then why every night was Zenitsu subjected to nightmare after nightmare ending in his death at the hand of vicious monsters?
And why was the new transfer student becoming a frequent character in said dreams?
