“That was … god, that was beautiful.”
Tim hums in agreement, watching as Dom and sub hold each other in the aftermath of their public scene. He then turns around, and his eyes widen and his breath catches in his throat as he realizes who is standing next to him, speaking to him.
God, but she’s breathtaking.
“Y-yeah, it was,” he stammers, and he feels like he can barely breathe as he watches her. “The aftercare… it’s one of my favorite parts.”
The woman nods, and Tim watches out of the corner of his eye as she wraps her arms around her chest. Her eyes are downcast and her fingers shake a little as she tucks them into her underarms, and Tim frowns because even after scening, a sub shouldn’t be shaking the way she is.
“Are you alright?” he asks, and she nods as she bites her lip and glances up at him.

Summary
It’s okay to feel a tug in her chest and a dull ache in her stomach when she thinks of Tim, when she imagines the familiarity of the two of them tucked away in a shop. That it’s okay to miss him, to miss patrol, to miss home – that if UC work is something she thinks she may want to do long-term, she should probably get used to it and make a new home out of that feeling.

Summary
