“You did well today, Mingoo,” Jihoon had said, both the nickname and the deep sultry timbre of his voice having sent bolts of electricity racing up Mingyu's spine. “I always like your singing. Look good, too.”
Heat had risen to Mingyu’s cheeks at the forwardness. “Thank you,” he’d mumbled bashfully, not sure how else to respond to the sudden praise. Jihoon had only hummed thoughtfully, but he hadn’t let go, forcing Mingyu’s gaze to stay on him.

Summary
Vernon wasn't sure how he'd missed it, because now that he was seeing it, it was obvious. He didn't see Seungkwan as delicate or something—despite his limp wrists and iced coffees and intricate skincare routine, Seungkwan was his jock boyfriend, not the other way around—but careful was just how Vernon had always treated small things, like cats or kids or Jihoon's outward displays of affection; that was why all of those things liked him so much.
Between developing a consistent workout routine and not quite having stopped growing yet, Vernon's pretty big now. And that's not surprising, but he hadn't understood that it would also mean that Seungkwan would be smaller than him. When the realization hits him, he isn't quite sure what to do.
