She was still learning how to match colours (“She’s experimenting and finally feels free to be herself,” as Will would’ve put it): she was wearing one of Jonathan’s dark green-and-ocean-blue plaid shirts, a pair of pants that was definitely too big, and a pink headband with an obnoxiously large bow.
Lucas, bracing for the worst, shrank down behind the table. Dustin was preparing for the impact. Mike, meanwhile, was staring at Will like an idiot, completely hypnotized by his sweet smile.
