Nathaniel Steepleton (15 November 1858 - 30 August 1927) was a British civil servant, pianist, and composer during the late Romantic period. He achieved modest notoriety for his work during his lifetime, but has surged to popularity in the early 2020’s after the rediscovery of his work by popular culture. His most notable compositions include The Joy Symphony, multiple piano concertos, as well as his work for Gilbert and Sullivan.
