The elevator doors slide open, and they ignore the missing mirror, the one that used to be there, the one that had to be taken out after they punched it, because it was the first mirror they’d not been able to avoid since Cairo. They remember seeing their reflection then, only three or four days later. Julius’ lifeless eyes staring back at them, the bullet wound, it wasn’t a good day, that day.
They’re spiralling again, they know they are.
