Zayn was the definition of the best thing on two feet especially at his university. He’s nineteen and in his last year at the school. Zayn has always been popular with everyone wether it’s students, teachers, or parents. He’s partied, had good marks, and could get anyone he wanted, girls and guys alike. Zayn’s life is perfect and that is just the way he likes it. He loves being the golden boy of his hometown and he rides that wave as far as it will take him.
Liam felt as though he could never live up to the high standards his step brother set just by existing. Zayn never went out of his way to make anyone feel bad about themselves, but even at sixteen, Liam could feel a pressure to be as accomplished as his older brother, and it was often very stressful. Liam was considered a nerd and he wasn’t anything like Zayn. They were literally night and day. Zayn, the popular, loved boy with many mates and Liam, the unpopular, nerdy boy, with two mates.

Liam and Zayn had always been inseparable best friends most of their lives. They are currently housemates with Zayn in University and Liam working from home as a financial advisor. There are three years between them, with Liam at twenty two and Zayn at nineteen.
They have rarely fought during their friendship, aside from the occasional playful argument. Their bond has always been obvious to everyone around them, in fact, the way they interacted was so affectionate and touchy that strangers often mistook them for lovers.
Lately the relationship has been showing some small cracks.

Mum, why do you have to be gone a whole week? Uncle Z isn’t going to let me do much at all. Can you please have a talk with him. I’m old enough now to go places with my mates at least during the day while he’s here. Niall and Louis are seeing family out of town soon and I won’t see them for a while. I will have plenty of time with Zayn too” Liam complains to his mum who is packing for a business trip to Paris.
“Li, Zayn takes very good care of you and he has always been protective of you, even when dad was alive. I know you’re old enough now but I’ll be gone for a week and you need someone to stay with you and I know you will be fine and very safe in his care. I know I won’t have to worry about you while I’m away. I’ll mention to him that your mates are leaving soon.” his mum says as he gathers her things for her trip the next morning.
“Mum, I’m very happy to stay with him, just want to see Nialler and Lou before they leave and he’s so overprotective of me when he’s here”

Summary
Zayn caught Liam’s attention when he was just fifteen and started playing footie for the school team. It was much more innocent back then. Zayn was naturally charming, funny, and pretty matured for his age, both physically and mentally.
But the following two years made Zayn just fucking irresistible. His face got defined, he grew his hair longer and his body became strong with lean muscles, from the constant training. It became clear he was confident and comfortable in his body and sexuality.

He has been trying to get Zayn to open up since his mum ran off on them, but he is more closed off than ever. Liam and Zayn have gotten on very well since they met. Zayn was just starting to really find himself when his mum left them and Liam is sure there is a lot going on that Zayn wants to talk about but he’s not sure how to approach Liam.
Zayn has also recently started looking at Liam differently and touching him unnecessarily. He wonders if Zayn’s just confused by all the changes or maybe how to interact with Liam now. They’ve always been affectionate but Zayn has started flirting with Liam a lot recently and while Liam thinks it’s fun and flattering, he always thought Zayn was straight.

Liam Payne walks past his stepsons room only to see the boy asleep spread out naked on his large bed with only a pillow covering his manhood. He has one arm over his face and the other splayed out to his side. His sheets are disheveled and it looks like he had a good time before passing out, but the reality is much less exciting. England has been having a terribly hot summer and they don’t have air con.
Liam was married to Zayn’s adoptive dad who left them last year. Liam and Zayn decided to continue living together even without his dad being around because they got on really well and have always been close. Liam and his ex-husband married when Zayn was eleven years old so Liam became kind of another dad to him. A bit more like a mate and a confidant than anything. Liam was a young teen when he married Zayn’s dad who was six years older than him. Now Zayn is an eighteen year old uni student who is home for summer break.
