he smiled, just a little, amused by the irony. junghwan was trying. actually trying. and for some reason, that made youngjae want to hear more.junghwan’s voice softened as he admitted it, almost casual, like he was confessing something he’d kept tucked away for too long. “i like men. i mean… i wasn’t hiding it,” he smirked, but his eyes were serious. “i don’t do things halfway, though. when i care about someone, i give them everything. sometimes… i love until it hurts.”

Dohoon and Youngjae both asked at the same time, squeezing him tightly between them.
“Ah, seriously!” Jihoon wailed, face burning as he squirmed between them. “I know I’m a hot, sexy, friendly boss baby, but we can’t be doing this in public!”
Dohoon lifted his head from Jihoon’s chest, giving him a hopeful look.
“Then can we do it in the bedroom?” he murmured, his teeth grazing his lower lip.
Jihoon let out a strangled gawk, followed by a scream that sounded far too happy for his own good.
“Don’t be saying such weird things in public!”

so dohoon had let it go. he had done what he thought junghwan would wish him to do and stopped pining, stopped wishing for anything. he had killed the last hope in his heart. but now here junghwan is, maddeningly attractive, sitting on his bed just two inches away from him and speaking gently to dohoon, looking caring and attainable and dohoon is eighteen again, eighteen and helplessly in love.
"i want you,” junghwan says when he rears back up again over dohoon, his eyes fierce and intense and filled with unabashed lust.
“take me,” dohoon pulls him down, whispering deliriously. his nails rake down junghwan’s back, drawing hisses. “i’m all yours.”
junghwan has to know that out of all the guys in dohoon’s life, junghwan has always been special to him. always.

dohoon keeps having the same dream. in it, everything is beautiful and nothing hurts. in it, junghwan loves him. (parallel universes / dimension travel au)
