“And it was on this day, March 21st,1986, 36 years ago, that Hawkins High Cheerleader Chrissy Cunningham was brutally murdered. Her bones snapping in all the wrong directions and her eyes, hollowed out completely.” A couple of the boys grimaced as Dustin continued. “The witch hunt had begun for the suspected killer, Eddie Munson, who went into hiding at a local drug dealers house next to lovers lake. Meanwhile, The captain of Hawkins High’s basketball team, Jason Carver, who was Chrissy’s boyfriend at the time, lead the search party for Eddie.” He paused, looking around at his friends, shining the flashlight at each one of their faces.
“Well? What happens next?” Max questioned, sounding very impatient.
Steve gets made to attend a seance where he then proceeds to have the ghost of Eddie 'the freak' Munson attach himself to him.
