Summary
“Monarch was Gabriel Agreste!” Ladybug froze, the rest of the phrase falling on dead ears. The yo-yo clanged to the ground as his name rung out into the open. Thankfully, due to the attack, the street was rid of citizens, except one, her partner.
Chat Noir seemed frozen in time, his hands dropped from the akumatized villain as a white butterfly broke from the mask of an imposter. The Parisian citizen breathed heavy, backing away slowly from the two superheroes who seemed lost in thought, anger and malice in the face of one, yet concern and intent on another.
“I-I’m sorry! Did I do this to the city?” They scrambled trying to find the right words while their eyes flung from side to side, intending to determine their location. Neither superhero answered. Ladybug’s eyes were fixed onto the concrete underneath them, Chat’s on her, and only hers. After being ignored for what felt like an eternity, the victim simply ran. Ladybug reached her hand out as they ran past her, intending on asking them questions and even helping them home, until her partner finally spoke, causing her hand to fall back to her side.

Summary

Zooble knew he could just walk away right now. Back to her own room, Jax would probably thank her. He didn’t know why they weren’t walking back right now, turning on these @&#^%ing wobbly cartoon legs and pretending nothing was happening.
Of course she knew why. The sound of a little crying was always distinctly different from someone who was big, and of course he knew this and of course she had to at least check. Make sure everything was alright. Damn years of caregiving.

Jax is regressed and having a terrible time of it. Zooble, unfortunately, knows exactly what to do to help.
