"There has gotta be a better way to do this. That was awful," Mike said, turning to Will, voice hoarse and deeper than usual. Will continued rubbing Mike's back as he thought about Mike's words.
Will did know of a better way, but he was certain they shouldn't do it.
"Will?" Mike began, eyes flitting between Will's, causing Will's eyes to snap to his. "What? Is there actually a better way?"
Will hesitated at the inquiry. "Yeah- Yeah, sorry, but we can't do it."
"Why not?" Mike asked, looking confused, keeping his eyes locked onto Will's.
Will averted his eyes. "It might be too weird. It's kinda… intimate?" Will said, making it sound almost like a question.
Mike nodded thoughtfully, thinking about it for a moment before saying, "We can do it anyway, if you want. I don't mind. I trust you, Will."

Eddie throws his hands in the air with misplaced indignation, his specialty. “I know you did, I’m— I didn’t expect— you did it in a really fucking stupid way!”
“Oh, excuse me,” Richie yelps, his face flushing. “I’m sorry I didn’t hire a skywriter, but it was a bit spontaneous after my fucking ex showed up and shoved his happy little gay family in our faces.”
“Your ex?” Eddie’s voice is hitting a frequency only dogs and Richie can hear, so Richie tries to shush him lest he spill the embarrassing tales of his childhood to the whole of this tiny Derry diner.

Summary

Summary
Will and El’s lives had always been intertwined. He couldn’t help but to think that he had been living in her shadow, that they both couldn’t exist together at the same time in the same place, when Will disappeared she appeared and when he came back she disappeared. They were not bound to be together, still, they were now siblings, twins. Two sides of the same coin. Two magnets doomed to repel each other that somehow defeated all the laws of physics and united together.
