Link shouldn't allow this. Shouldn't indulge himself when he knows that Sidon is far, far from his reach. He shouldn't allow this because the avatar might only be doing this because Link wants it to, and how will he ever explain something like that to Sidon? He shouldn't be doing this because Sidon might find out somehow, because the king might already know, because this might taint their precious friendship.
He shouldn't because a taste of intimacy like this is only going to make Link want the real thing even more.

Sidon's avatar starts behaving strangely, teasing Link with affectionate touches and gestures that the real Sidon would never allow; a torment so sweet, Link simultaneously wants it to end and never stop. At the same time, Sidon is plagued with strange dreams of his dearest friend. Dreams where he can't hold back desires he didn't even know he had.

Funny as hell and is MUCH more cohesive than the (still extremely good) original just... NAMI IS A NATIONAL TREASURE AND MUST BE PROTECTED AT ALL COSTS!!!!! There's so much lore, and fluff, and time travel and THE DAD ARMY MUST GROW. It's long but it is so worth it. This interpritation of Yona is the relatable person of all time. It's all just so good!
Also so much good theorizing material.

Sidon continues, his voice still soft and full of melancholy, “…I could not burden your already heavy shoulders with more troubles of the domains.” Link can feel Sidon’s gaze on him, can feel the way his eyes trace and drink in his form, as if trying to commit the very image to memory. Link finds he doesn’t blame him, he can’t blame him. He has a feeling he’s going to remember nothing but heartbreak and tears when he looks back on this moment, on any memory that involves him and Sidon and Zora’s Domain.
