Summary
After the battle with Lady Bone Demon is won, Macaque finds himself watching Sun Wukong bask in the glory of “his" victory and that was the last straw.
This story is mostly in the perspective of Macaque but alternates to Wukong.

Summary
In the wake of a new world, MK and his friends were ready to get back to some level of normal. But that hope gets quashed when a new demon threat rears its head, and Macaque ends up broken as a result. Now MK, the Monkey King, and all their friends need to come together to help their shadow monkey, while trying to work through the old wounds that have been ripped open again
Or: What would happen if Macaque lost his memories and woke up thinking he was back in the Brotherhood era? How would Wukong deal with the old version of his friend being alive and well again? And how on earth do they fix it? (And, does Wukong even want to?)

Summary
A collision of magic causes the strong backlash of feeling one’s bones break and reform themselves in an instant, immortality flowing beneath the veins and bones that tie the puppet together and ends up forcing a gasp out of him, wide eyes staring up at the sun’s reflection in the dark sky, an eclipse of sorts that trickles anxiety and panic through his chest before leaving in a sigh. A rebirth that happens in a matter of seconds. He wants to throw up.

Summary
The black cat yowled as something big and heavy landed on his back, breaking his stride and sending him sprawling to the forest floor, scrambling to get up. He was stopped by a big paw hitting his flank, striking him down again and keeping him down even as he writhed and hissed and spat. Every attack he tried bounced uselessly off the gold-red tiger’s stone skin, doing little more than shearing some fur off, but there was no room in his mind to try any other escape.
Sharp but gentle teeth closed swiftly around the scruff of his neck, and—stupid cat instincts—immobilized his body, gasping for breath as his muscles froze and did not let go, mind going horribly numb except for stay still, stay still, stay still.
Or: Wukong is getting in the way of Macaque getting some much-needed rest. Ironically, Wukong is the one trying to give it to him.
