Summary
There were many more challenges to come. But she had Enid back. That was the only important thing. Getting back to Nevermore, Enid’s recovery, the Hyde problem, and others Wednesday was certain would appear, none of that mattered. Because right now, she had Enid besides her in a too small cabin in the middle of the Canadian wilderness and they were safe. Wednesday would make sure of it.

Summary
Hester approached, sitting beside Enid with a conspiratorial air. “So, little wolf… what are you to her?”
Enid froze. The question hit like an arrow. She looked at Hester, then at the door through which Wednesday had exited.
“I… we’re friends,” she said, a little awkwardly. “We’ve been through a lot together. And she… she’s important to me.”
“I noticed that,” Hester said, her gaze sharp. “But what are you to her? Because, honestly, I’ve never seen my granddaughter like this with anyone. Not even her own family.”
Enid bit her lip, her heart racing. “Maybe… maybe I’m someone she chose. And that’s already a lot coming from Wednesday.”
Hester smiled, satisfied with the answer. “Yes. That’s a lot.”
Or… Wednesday manages to bring Enid back to human form, and they spend some time at Hester Frump’s mansion while Enid recovers. Feelings inevitably surface.

The envelope on her pillow came as a surprise.
It was heavy cream paper, sealed with black wax stamped in a crest Enid didn’t recognise. Her name was written across the front in a precise, old-fashioned hand: Enid Sinclair.
Enid flopped onto her bed, tore it open, and unfolded the sheet inside. The first line made her bark out a laugh.
“Obituary: Enid Sinclair, survived by excessive glitter and poor taste.”

Summary
The body was smaller than she’d expected right off the bat, the grunt of impact effeminate in demeanor— Enid snarling as her hands slid from shoulders to the ground beneath. Snarling, jaw open wide and gaping open, dripping with saliva and maybe still some blood that held in her mouth from the last encounter. Every breath was hot, fanning menacingly from the pointed teeth that threatened over the figure blindly.
Enid didn’t want to attack, she didn’t want to hurt whoever it was knocked to the ground… but if it came down to it? She would. Or so she thought she would, the quick interruption from down beneath her coming quick and maybe even startled from the sharp tone that fell far more familiar than anticipated.
“Enid—!”
Enid was turned for good. When she ran off into the woods, Wednesday wasn’t sure if she’d ever see her ever again. Though she had been her opposite in every way, something about that didn’t sit right with her.
So one year later…
Wednesday was still looking. Still searching. This time, however, she didn’t come back so empty handed. Who thought that the only way to cure her, to bring Enid back to her, would be something as juvenile as a pack bond.A kiss.

Wednesday sighs and finally responds, breaking eye contact. “No, Enid, I-”
“If it is, then I'm sorry. I can't help who my wolf chooses as their mate. I don't want this to be awkward between us. I hoped we could have ignored it, but if it makes you uncomfortable, I can change rooms and move in wi-”
“No. You do not need to move anywhere. And no, I'm not uncomfortable about your werewolf traditions, I've accepted it the moment you saved my life.”
“Then what is it?” Enid pleads
