“Whoa!” Caelus says, ducking his head into Dan Heng’s space. He takes a step closer and leans in, grinning. “Are those fangs?”
Dan Heng snaps his mouth shut. His heart flutters in his chest — worrying, Dan Heng thinks. He’s never been prone to heart palpitations. It’s probably just an aftereffect of battle, adrenaline still coursing through him.
“They are!” Caelus rambles on excitedly. He bites his lip, buzzing around him. “Dan Heng, I can’t believe you never told me. They’re so cute!”

It's not Caelus's fault, okay? It really isn't!
If anything, it's Herta's fault for keeping all these dangerous Curios just laying around randomly where anyone can stumble across them. It is absolutely not Caelus's fault for touching the weird glowing orb on the space station.
And in his defense, there are plenty of weird glowing orbs around the space station! Those Memory Bubbles, for one! So no, Caelus is definitely, most certainly not to blame.
Even if his own face is currently scowling over at him, and he's looking out through eyes that don't belong to him. No sirree. Not his fault.
OR: Caelus messes with a Curio that swaps your mind into the body of the last person you were thinking about. It goes... well?

Summary
Caelus finds himself with a bottle of alcohol straight from Belobog's underworld. What better way to spend it than with one of his newest companions aboard the express?
“You said the end of the expedition should be a cause for celebration, right?” Caelus says, setting the glasses down on the desk. “What say you to honouring Belobog tradition with some of their finest?” He raises the bottle and smiles hopefully.
The bottle does not appear to contain what Danheng would imagine when presented with the word ‘finest’. The liquid appears thick- although not quite as sludge-like as some of Himeko’s coffee, and he’s managed to stomach that before. Even if the experience was not particularly enjoyable.
He swallows and pretends he doesn’t feel his heart rate increase as the silver-haired man looks at him expectantly.
