Kaveh is preparing for his defense thesis, hoping this will be his last year at the Acadamiya so he can graduate and finally take on projects and spread his architectural ideas all over Sumeru. When he goes to the House of Daena in search for materials to study, he finds a new library assistant there and being the sociable man he is, he decides to get acquainted with him - it also didn't hurt that he was easy on the eyes.
But this conversation is the first of many and the start of a friendship that develops into more, though Kaveh wonders plenty of times what morbid curiosity is driving him to keep talking to a guy that seems to only insult him. -
