Summary
Attention: this work, in addition to being a personal diary of the time, is also an important true record of the Tunguska event in 1908, and how it affected the peculiar local society. This work was donated by Yelena Siberian Crane (author of this diary) in 2012 to the Museum of Russian Resistance and Resilience, which pays tribute to the victims of this massacre and exhibits artifacts from the time. This is the first version of this diary to leave Russian territory and be exhibited to the world as a detailed account of what happened, and also as an eternal reminder of how our society almost collapsed. The author emphasizes that this book also has the role of alerting new generations so that events like Tunguska never happen again in our society, She hopes that future generations will learn from the mistakes of the older generation.
