But it’s not real. None of it is.
There’s a rustle of dried leaves somewhere nearby, and Beomgyu whips his head in the direction of the sound. A footstep? It’s so dark. Too dark to see much of anything, but he feels it. Like a weight on his skin, almost negligible in its presence, but heavy enough to leave him uneasy and littered in goosebumps.
He feels like he’s being watched.

Beomgyu laughs. Actually, honestly, straight-up laughs. He tries to hide it behind his hand, but it rings out loud and clear through Soobin’s room, definitely getting caught on the microphone. Soobin sighs, pausing the recording.
“This is the third time you’ve interrupted my recording, Beomgyu.”
“I’m so, so, sorry, hyung, really. I didn’t mean to, I swear,” Beomgyu chuckles to himself, “It’s just- you can’t even drive.”
