“Are you saying that, this entire time, you already knew all of this? You were just trying to get a rise out of me, huh?” Kaveh huffs, marching closer and pointing his finger. He pokes Alhaitham’s chest as hard as he can.
Alhaitham’s expression shifts as he moves the book from his lap, before looking directly into Kaveh’s eyes. He grabs Kaveh’s hand, pulling him closer. “Finally.”
“What—” Kaveh doesn’t even have the opportunity to finish his sentence before he’s pulled into Alhaitham’s lap, strong arms enveloping his waist. Recovering from his initial shock, he shifts his weight so that he doesn’t accidentally topple over, and that’s when he feels it. “You’re… seriously hard right now?”
Alhaitham shows Kaveh how much he loves him on his birthday.
