Dazai gets forced to finally work more meanwhile Chuuya is forced to do the exact opposite and sent on vacation. Both of them already have enough to deal with, their minds making them finally realize a thing or two, but what happens if coincidence brings them together again at such an emotional time of their life? Or maybe coincidence actually wears a black coat and used to be a doctor until a certain scalpel slipped.
I suck at summaries.
This is going to be full of hurt, regret, denial, angst and all those nice feels that make you cry. Some comforting and bonding too of course.
Not tagging too much to not spoil also tags get updated with every chapter if necessary. Post Season 2 and will not have anything to do with the rest of the main story, with the exception of their backstory/fifteen probably. The focus is solely on Dazai and Chuuya. There WILL be stuff going on between them eventually but the focus is on the plot and I don't know whether or not there will be smut added or how I'm going to solve that. If you want porn, this is ain't it. Thank you.

Summary
So there he was, laying in the middle of the street, looking at the stars that made the darkness of the night a little brighter. Not able to focus on anything enough but the endless little lights above, the rest of the world all blurred together, fading more and more with every passing second. How long has it been since he last moved?
This is just a short drabble I did once. Dazai is dead and Chuuya is feeling extremely guilty for it, it's not mentioned how he died but basically something terrible happened and he thinks his old partner's death is his fault. Won't make much sense if you don't know about his past. I'll leave it up to you if you want to see this as romantic or platonic but either way Dazai had a big role in Chuuya's life even if he never really wanted to admit it while he was still alive.
And yes canon divergence because it's not known whether this would be possible or not.

This will be headcanons and ideas people sent to me on tumblr, I will mostly write small things for these unless it's something that really gets to me. It always depends on the complexity of the idea or the genre too, only because something is shorter doesn't mean I like it less, they will be all separate works however so that I can add chapters if wanted or if I feel like continuing a certain idea!
