Jinx is standing up, holstering her gun, eyes uncharacteristically pointed anywhere but him. She almost looks… embarrassed.
“What are you doing?” Ekko asks.
Jinx glances at him, expression once again schooled into cool apathy. “Leaving. I’m not going to kill you.”
“What? Why?” He asks. Something in his voice sounds vaguely offended, which is ridiculous. He should just be grateful to live another day, even if the reason is the psychotic fucking brain of his best friend turned worst enemy.
Jinx shrugs. “Kind of a bummer right now, I guess. I don’t know, just not in the right mood.”
“Not in the right mood? What does that even mean?”
Jinx ignores him, rummaging through a bag that she must have had with her. She pulls out a battered first aid kit, tossing it to him. It hits him in the face and he scowls.
“Don’t look so mad, Boy Savior.” Jinx smirks. “I’m saving your life.”
And with one last, infinitely irritating look, she grabs her bag and walks off.
Ekko stares at the first aid kit in his hands, then back at her disappearing figure.
What the fuck?

Summary
Dumbledore clears his throat, and a hush goes over the tables as everyone focuses.
“This year we will have a slight change at Hogwarts.” Dumbledore says gravely. “I am happy to let you know that this year we will be hosting eleven transfer students from America as 5th years.”
The silence from the tables disappears, as everyone discusses this news. Most everyone had heard about it by now, but Dumbledore was the first to actually verify the rumor.
Dumbledore clears his throat again, silencing the crowd, before continuing.
“We are glad to say that we have discovered a new school in America, known as the Olympus School of Magic, and as a sign of friendship have opened Hogwarts doors to some of their students.”

He unnerves her. Sitting there in the cell, he doesn't look at all like the delinquent teenagers who find themselves in a cell. Most came in angry, either loudly refusing that they'd done anything wrong or yelling that it was just a mistake.
This kid came in quietly, and he sat down in the interrogation room, and didn't say anything. He tapped his fingers on the table in a bored sort of way, and seemed to be deep in thought.

“Am I correct to believe you’re um, not straight?” Caitlyn cringed. This conversation had gone smoother in her mind. Things felt far too awkward between them, and this was the only thing that would make it better, right? Let it all out there in the open.
“You’d be correct. I am in fact a homosexual.”
Caitlyn wasn’t surprised by the answer, but her throat still tightened. “Right. Well I’m not. Not homosexual that is. I am straight. Very straight.”
“Um, good for you. Your parents must be very proud.”
“Er, yes they are proud of me. Not that we talk about that sort of thing. I don’t care that you’re a lesbian by the way. There’s other lesbians on the ultimate frisbee team.”

College/Sorority AU where Piltover is in the American South, the Arcane gang goes Greek, Caitlyn and Powder/Jinx are in the same sorority, and Vi is just trying to live her best gay university life until a hot British sorority girl drops a cupcake (and an ultimate frisbee) into her orbit.
