Peter slowly bled in the alleyway with no one to save him. After everything that happened in his life, especially the argument with the one and only Tony Stark, Peter had stopped giving him updates on patrols, arriving on lab days, and blocked Tony on all social media platforms and numerous (Petty, I know, but he just didn't want to feel any pain being reminded of Tony). Now it is dark, and Peter had gotten stabbed by a criminal, which led to this.
or: Weeks after Tony and Peter argued, and the boy blocking Tony from every thing. Peter gets hurt on patrol. Luckily, Iron Man is here to save the day.

The doors the lab swished open for Peter, and he stepped inside. He took in Tony’s tense posture, practically able to see the hackles raised on the genius. The man standing opposite him looked familiar and his expression was angry, the hairs on Peter’s arms raising at the look.
“Dad?”
Tony whirled around, the hard expression from his face falling as he locked eyes with Peter. “Kid. What are you doing here?”
“It’s Wednesday,” Peter said, stepping further into the lab cautiously. “Lab day.”
“Ah,” Tony said. “I forgot what day it was.”

After that phone call, Mr Harrington decided, for once and for all, to end the policy of answering phones on speaker. It was just getting ridiculous. They’d all had to sign four NDAs at this point, each one changing slightly and getting more and more protective of Peter. And, understandably, Mr Harrington didn’t want the recurring trauma to come back with every ring of Peter’s phone. So no. It was over.

“Oh, no, Peter, my darling, I would only trust you with something so important as this,” The Queen said, with a tone laced with worry. “Think of the bees.”“Of course,” Peter looked at his watch, which had his calendar on it. It was a Friday, so he shrugged. He had nothing on at the weekend, other than hanging out with the Starks for a movie night Saturday evening, but that could be rearranged. If he borrowed Tony’s private jet and flew over immediately after leaving school… “I can probably be over by tomorrow at nine if you would like?”
....“Oh, no bother. And yes, Peter, that would be perfect. I’ll see you tomorrow, and make sure to get you some of those gummy worms stocked. I’ll tell my butler this instant to prepare you your room at Buck Pal, I’ll be there.”
