    The problem with ignoring a problem until it eventually goes away is that it’s never going away. It’s going to eat at you until you drop cold on one of the streets of Manhattan, bleeding sluggishly onto the asphalt and making the headline with a gaping wound in your chest.

    (Stiles pines, it’s probably not good for him. Derek pines, it’s definitely bad for him. And everyone pines actually, but there are enough happy endings to go around for all of them.)

    (Or, they’re New York City cops, they solve cases and they over-identify with the victims, all in a good day’s work.)
