Summary
The first thing you need to understand is that superstardom is ugly up close. It looks nice from the outside—glamorous, polished, cinematic—but up close, it’s cracked mirror shards and bad lighting. And at the center of all that glare and flash was Alexander Gabriel Claremont-Diaz, age twenty-six, international megastar, chart-topping singer-songwriter, Grammy-winning performer, and the face of three major luxury fashion brands. People used to call him “the Prince of Pop” until they just started calling him “the King.”
He’d clawed his way to the top. From a two-bedroom house in East Austin to a ten-million-dollar glass fortress in the hills above Los Angeles. From homemade SoundCloud demos and open mic nights at grimy Tex-Mex joints to sold-out stadiums across six continents. He was living the dream.
Except Alex didn’t sleep anymore. Not really.

Summary
On the third push-up, his muscles burned so fiercely he thought he might cry. “Okay, I hate this,” Alex hissed.
By the fourth, he couldn’t even finish the movement. His arms gave out, and he pitched forward, bracing himself for a spectacular, face-first collapse.
Except it didn’t happen.
Strong hands gripped his waist firmly, steadying him before he could tumble off the bar.
“Careful,” a voice said, each vowel curling in a soft accent.
Alex blinked, startled, and craned his neck to look at whoever had just saved him.
And oh. Oh no.Or Alex starts going to the gym, decides to film the whole journey on TikTok and also develops a crush on Henry.
