Summary
Amity’s parents are not pleased with the direction their daughter’s life has dramatically shifted to. She has been slowly dragging her family’s name through the mud. Odalia comes up with a solution, though quite drastic. She curses her own daughter and forces her to join the Emperor’s Coven. The curse effectively wipes Amity’s memories of any remnant of Luz or her friends.
Years pass and Amity becomes quite outstanding in the coven. She enforces the strict will of the emperor and quashes those who stand in his way. Behind her perfect facade, she’s been having nightmares ever since she joined. She’s not sure where they came from but they always lead her back to the same place, the Owl House.
Luz has been trying to find a way to free Amity. Spearheading the rebellion as well, she has a lot on her plate. When a mission gone wrong ends up stranding her with Amity on a deserted island in the Boiling Sea with no way out, she figures it’s her best bet to figure out what happened and how to fix things.

Halfway through their meal, Dream spoke up, “So how do you want me to do this… do you want me to just pull out the box, or something more elaborate like a champagne glass?”George felt a pit grow in his stomach. It was a harsh reminder that all of it was fake, all of the heartfelt looks Dream was giving him were just for the purpose of maintaining their facade.
“You’re asking me how I want to be proposed to?” George asked, “That’s so… dumb.”
“Well, I’m not exactly an expert at this,” Dream shot back in a whisper.
George sighed, “Just… surprise me.”
Dream and George fake a marriage proposal in order to get free food at an expensive restaurant, and George tries his hardest to remember that it's all fake even though, more than anything, he wants it to be real.
