Minjeong looked way too innocent with her pink pajamas and panda blindfold placed on her forehead, her steps were small and careful as she slowly made her way to Jimin. Jimin felt way too dirty with her loose sweater that was already tainted by blood, her face was no different.
“I have nowhere to go.” Jimin’s laden gaze didn’t go unnoticed by the younger one. The way Jimin’s shoulders went awfully rigid and her muscles tense, Minjeong didn’t once snap her gaze away from her.

The usual patients Jimin had helped from this area of the city were all large, tall, and broad men, with bodies broken in every sense of the word, and an almost monstrous appearance that intimidated even the most professional in the hospital. Now, however, the puppy face that stared back at her held no trace of monstrosity. Jimin immediately noticed that the injuries weren't as serious as she'd thought, and also that the girl didn't seem the least bit scared. Instead, she grimaced in annoyance at Jimin's white uniform.
"Are you the doctor?" The voice that comes from between her swollen lips is low and hoarse, as she looks up with effort. "Don't tell me they carried you off a padded stretcher to come to this dump."
"Yes." Jimin isn't fazed by the mocking tone in the woman's voice. "And you don't look so good."
"You're not a prize yourself, Doc."

Slowly pulling away, Aaliyah reached out with one of her hands and cupped Cruz’s cheek, her thumb starting to move in a slow, gentle rhythm. Aaliyah could feel the warmth emanating from that cheek. Aaliyah moved her lips to Cruz's ear as she continued to caress that part of Cruz’s face. She could perfectly see a shiver running through the girl's body, and smiling at the action, she whispered, "I'm glad to hear that, Zara, because after this… after this, I'll never give you peace," and after that, Aaliyah did what she had wanted to do since she laid her eyes on Cruz's neck.
Aaliyah moved her lips to where the girl's pulse resided, delicately sealing her words with a searing kiss, and whispered, "That's a promise, and I never break my promises."
