Summary
"Don't move! You must be so confused right now. You got into a bad car accident a few days ago. You hurt your head really bad — you had a minor surgery too. I'm calling the nurses, please don't try to sit up—"
Minjeong grabs the front of Jimin's shirt and pulls her closer. Her grip is weak, it would be easy for Jimin to get out of her grasp, but the sudden animosity that spreads across Minjeong's face like a drop of ink in water, freezes her limbs.
"Jimin, right?" Minjeong asks. She spits out the two syllables of Jimin's name like a curse. “What the fuck are you doing here?”

Summary
Maybe this is where it all started. Maybe this is the first lifetime they spend together and losing Minjeong all those times before are just nightmares that cloud her judgment. Maybe this is where it stops, the chase, the hopelessness. This time — it feels right.

Summary
“For you, Jimin. Lucky for you, I never had huge expectations for my soulmate. Sadly for me, I got stuck with you. Forever,” 18-year-old Minjeong says over the cracking line, laughter hiding in her voice as she hears a dignified ‘hey!’ in the background. She laughs loudly, fondly, and present Minjeong can recall the memory immediately. Jimin, lazing around the bed while Minjeong was making all these cassettes, the warm orange light framing her face and making her eyes soft. Minjeong remembers looking at her and saying, “I think I can say that we are both incredibly lucky to have found each other so soon. Don’t miss me much, though, as I’ll always stay close to you, and I’ll always find my way back to you.”
The message is cut off suddenly, and Moon River starts playing. The daisies burn, the petals wither on her skin, and Minjeong lets it happen. She embraces the pain.
Minjeong learns about second chances when she returns home.
