Summary
Standing in the doorway, backlit by the hallway lamp, wearing Seungmin’s old Nirvana shirt which goes halfway down his legs, Jisung looks closer to an angel than Chris thinks he’s ever seen before, ever will see. All of a sudden he understands Jeongin’s cross necklace.
None of this is ever vocalised, but Jisung hears it just the same. He pads further into the room, leaves the door ajar, steps led by the light beyond it. By the time he’s next to the bed, Chris knows to scoot over and make room. It’s muscle memory for him to open his arms, muscle memory for Jisung to fall into them.
It's been ten years since they first met.
