Summary
“Buck, I’m gonna need a lot more words here, buddy. Tie what for who?”
Buck sighs again, even louder and longer and noisier this time. “Eddie’s shoes,” he clarifies, through gritted teeth. “I—I usually tie them. For him.”
More silence, this time somehow more deafening. Buck inspects a stray line of grout until he can’t bear it anymore, then looks up for judgment.
Chim’s eyebrows are sky-high. “You’ve been tying Eddie’s shoes?” he repeats, strangled and high-pitched. “Regularly?”

or: buck, eddie, and the intimacy of a properly-tied shoe.

Summary
It’s not even three minutes after he switches off the light that the door bangs open. Bangs open, not even an attempt at quietness.
“Eddie,” Buck stage-whispers, “you’re not asleep yet, right?”
“No,” Eddie grumbles, flicking on the light when Buck bumps heavily into something and swears. “But I could’ve been.”
“Eddie, Eddie,” Buck sings breathily, shucking his trousers and clambering onto the bed in just his boxers and a button-down shirt. “Why is there only one bed?”
“Um,” Eddie draws the comforter up to his chin, as if he can shield himself from the half-naked—oh, three-quarters naked, he’s pulling off his shirt now—Buck with just a duvet.
or, sharing a bed with your best friend is fine, usually, except for when your best friend is the particular combination of tipsy and stoned at his sister’s wedding that transforms him into 200 pounds of cuddlebug

A little-known fact that Vessel loves to exploit (fucker) is that II can’t hold his wine. Red wine, specifically.
Beer?
Sure, no problem.
Whiskey?
Any day.
White wine?
Iffy…
But red wine?
Nope.
No.
Goes right to his fucking head.
And Vessel loves it.
Or-
On movie night, Vessel shows II how much he really fucking loves him. And how much he loves his red wine stained lips.

Summary
“Alright. So, how do you wanna do this?”
“I don't know, I didn't think that far.” Buck closed his eyes for a moment, trying to collect his thoughts, which was a task harder than he expected. “I guess, just… talk to me.”
“About what?”
Oh, god. Fuck. Okay.
They were in it now, so he might as well just…
“Tell me what to do.”
Buck half-expected Eddie to quip ‘you don't know how to jerk off?’ but instead there was a moment of pause, then:
“Okay.”Or
When Buck finally gets to the Clinic, the long awaited release doesn’t seem to come; cue Eddie to the rescue.
