Hi, everyone! I’m TonyStark69420, and I’m writing a death battle script!

I just graduated from high school, my favorite food is Chicken Parmesan, and my favorite movie is Infinity War. Thanos is such a fucking badass!

So, right now, because a few of my friends requested it, I’m doing Thanos vs. Monika from Doki Doki Literature Club. Yes, you heard it right. A supervillain, versus some random schoolgirl from a visual novel. Weird matchup, I know. Thanos totally stomps.

But, what’s the worst that can happen? It might come off as a bit boring, but it’s not like anything bad will happen to me, right?

    ------

Basically, Monika realizes she's trapped inside a death battle script, and tries her best to become real, at the expense of the author of the story.

By the way, commenting in-character is much appreciated.

    Summary

Sometimes, Monika feels like she shouldn't be trying.
Not in the sense that she's lazy, not in the sense that she's procrastinating, but in the sense that something is watching her, and it is very, very disappointed. Sometimes she feels like her own perfectionism grows a body and whispers judgements in her ear, and sometimes she feels like she'll never be enough. But she has to be, right? She's the leader of the literature club, and she's got responsibility.
So when her world starts falling apart at the seams, she can't do anything but try.

    Summary

Monika is back in the literature club after having been deleted, but the world she finds herself in is not the game nor reality, but some surreal mixture of the two. The past isn't something so easily forgotten however, and Monika will have to prove she's willing to face her own flaws as well as her clubmates' for a chance at a happy ending. Can Monika really change what she knows to be hard fact, or was she right all along that the literature club holds no happiness for anyone? After all, a poem is never actually finished, it just stops moving.

    Summary

“Monika thought things couldn’t get worse. She supposed she should’ve known better than to tempt fate.”

At the end of everything, Monika was left to reflect on herself. She had personally broken everyone and everything around her in pursuit of a selfish end-goal, and then she met with what she realized was a deserved fate.

Broken, in more ways than one.

She didn’t think she deserved a second chance. Someone disagreed.

    Monika remembers everything.

Maybe this time, she won’t fuck things up.
