Summary
“You’re thinking,” Will says, skating a finger down the line of Mike’s nose, under his eye, over his cheekbone, then resting, finally, just at the corner of his lips– “about me.”
Oh, Jesus. Mike’s throat is very, very dry. “What?”
Will opens his eyes – slow, a little hesitant – and smiles. “You are,” he says, way, way too smug for Mike’s liking. “You’re turning red!”
“Shut up,” Mike mutters, and Will’s smile grows. “You– I’m just nervous!”
It should be illegal for someone to look this pleased with themselves. “Yeah?” Will says quietly, index finger still hovering at the corner of Mike’s mouth, thumb pressed gently under his chin. “I make you nervous?”
Mike thinks Will might be psychic. (Kind of.) Will is being very irritatingly vague about the whole thing.

Summary
The world is falling apart again and the Byers have been living in the Wheeler household much to Will's dismay. - Stress piles, secrets pile higher, and Mike and Will's relationship teeters between friendship, denial, and something neither of them has the courage to name.
A single night crosses a line they can't uncross and Will's long-rooted feelings only intensify, especially when Mike's affection only surfaces through the hazes of stolen wine or when he falls apart.
Caught between hope and heartbreak, Will can't tell whether Mike truly feels the same... or if it's just his way of numbing the world as it seems to be ending.

(WARNING: lots of VERY mature subjects and themes in this story, viewer discretion is advised. - Also tried to make the characters as close to themselves as possible. Everything is pretty accurate in the setting other than Robin having a friendship with Will here.)

Summary
“Wow,” Will breathes out, just on this edge of teasing. “You sound very confident about this.”
“Well,” Mike shrugs, swallowing hard in a desperate attempt to soothe his very, very dry mouth, “I don’t know why someone wouldn’t be interested in you.”
“Oh?” Will says, and it’s definitely teasing now, enough for Mike to feel himself turning warm, all down his neck and to the tips of his own – sadly unpatterned – socks. “Someone?”
“Yeah.” Mike nods. Oh, god. This is fine. “In a very arbitrary sense of the word. Just– people. Someone.”
Mike is approximately ninety-eight percent sure that his feelings are requited. That last two percent, however, has really been throwing him for a loop.

Summary
"Stop looking," Mike seethed.
"What, I'm not allowed to look at you?" Will snapped just as angrily.
"No!" Mike cried out.
"Why the hell not?" Will stalked closer, his smell of oranges so sweet and so tempting that Mike had to bit on his lip to stop a whimper.
"Because - " Mike stuttered, feeling like he was losing his mind as Will cupped his jaw. "Because - you're - you're driving me crazy, and I can't breathe around you - "
"Yeah?" Will whispered, his eyes intense and his voice even more so. "Then what do you think you're doing to me, Wheeler?"

Others liked to describe Dr. William Byers as the most brilliant surgeon that had graced St. Hawkins Hospital's history.
Mike liked to describe him as hotter than the fucking sun.
