He's sure they were.
They were arguing about something, but Juwon can't put his finger on whatever it was. Largely because his fingers are otherwise occupied tangling themselves into Dongsik's hair as he tries to pull him somehow even closer, like he can kiss the man close enough to fuse their bodies.
Dongsik isn't helping matters, what with the way his arms have banded around Juwon's waist, and he's not sure which of them is leading but eventually Dongsik's back hits a wall and there's an audible sigh of relief as he tightens his hold on Juwon, hand creeping up his spine to nudge him yet closer.
They were arguing about something, Juwon remembers.

Summary
Luo Binghe's efforts to pinpoint and travel to the 'nice' Shen Qingqiu's soul don't go according to plan, which is a slightly nicer way of saying that they fail miserably and only end up spitting him out in front of some unimpressive, irritating flower spirit that he'd apparently married a decade ago and promptly forgotten about. Oops.
Even worse, Luo Binghe is struck by a curse that forces him to share a telepathic bond with this little spirit until they learn how to get along. Double oops.
...Actually, doesn't this 'Shen Yuan' seem a bit familiar...?

But it’s the twinkle in those curving eyes that feels the most surreal, a gut punch into a past that feels a lifetime ago from now, on the porch of Dong-sik’s old family home.
“It’s been a while, Inspector Han.”
Joo-won fights a grimace, looks up. “I need your help.”

Summary
Dongsik spends most of his time these days away from Manyang, in a Gangwon province apartment big enough for two. On the weekdays, he likes to keep himself busy. On the weekends, especially in the morning, he likes to do chores. Usually, he tries to get his chores done before anyone can stop him from doing them, but if not, he still likes the additional company. Prefers it, actually.
Or: a Saturday morning in Juwon and Dongsik’s Gangwon Province apartment, a few minutes away from Juwon’s workplace.

“When you’re really worked up, you start speaking English. It’s attractive. Especially in bed.” Dongsik says, grinning at the embarrassed look Juwon shoots at him. “I’m curious. I don’t know much English, but you grew up in England. You never talk about it.”
Juwon sits with the question for a moment, staring out the windshield. The reeds are golden in the sunlight, sibilant in the wind. Their pungent scent carries, and Dongsik smiles despite it. He’s grown used to this view, obstructed by Han Juwon. It’s Juwon that he stares at, and it’s Juwon who is the subject of his unending fascination.
