Summary
Namjoon was a thief. A thief that got caught two in every six times he stole. In conclusion, Namjoon was not a very good thief.
Thus, he got put in the dungeon a lot. A little too often, all the guards knew his name and some would even start friendly conversations with him. (Namjoon couldn’t tell if that was a good or bad thing). Namjoon didn’t hate the dungeon though, in fact his recent visits have been pleasant.
Why did Namjoon find being detained in a cell made of stone (which became explicitly freezing during the night time, Joon might add ) pleasant? It was because the cell had a window.
Now, the window wasn’t special. Not even close to special, it was just a rectangular hole in the wall with bars to prevent Namjoon from sliding through. But the man on the other side of the window who talked to him every time he was on lockdown?
Now, HE was special.---------------------------

So when Namjoon, a bum who leeched off living in his friend Yoongi's place, offered to help him sort the company issues out in exchange to live in Seokjin's place, Seokjin said yes.
What could go wrong?
Except why did Yoongi warn Seokjin to not get in a relationship with Namjoon? It's not like Seokjin would be interested anyway.

It had said, explicitly, that if he ever wanted to live on campus again, he had to pass the recreational beginner cooking class. If he did not, he will never be admitted on residence, ever again.
The thing is, his cooking teacher hates him.

Yoongi choked on the drink of water he had just chugged down, and Namjoon moved a few seconds late to clap on his back through the harsh coughing even though he himself was burning a bright red. That was something that probably shouldn’t have been said when Yoongi had a history of spitting drinks in Hoseok’s face.
"Hoseok, what the fuck," Yoongi breathed out, taking another cautious sip of water to flush out his system. Namjoon dropped his hands back to his lap, feeling like a puppy whose parents were fighting over him. "You think I'm going to knot Namjoon over his heat?"
Namjoon wanted to go home. Immediately.

Summary
Hoseok understands, intellectually, that this is a good thing. He and Yoongi have one of the nicer houses near campus, and they’ve been struggling to afford it since the rent increased in December. A third roommate makes sense. They’ve discussed it multiple times. In fact, when Yoongi initially suggested the roommate idea, Hoseok had been all for it.
It’s just. He just thought they’d get someone more like Jimin, who talked a lot, but mostly about stupid shit like the latest YouTube sensation or the best meme he’s seen this week. Namjoon talks about the state of the economy and how millennials are unnecessarily victimized, and he always has the NPR podcast link to back up his sources.
