Summary
Kaveh used to think that Alhaitham had mastered the art of ignoring him. The man would remain unflappable as he continued to read his worn copy of The Origins of Enkanomiyan Language, even when Kaveh was a hair’s breadth away from shattering the windows of their house with his severity of pitch.
No amount of screaming, threats to throw things, or violently waving in front of him could get Alhaitham to pause in his thirst for knowledge. As it turns out, Alhaitham literally just turns his hearing aids off so he doesn’t have to listen to Kaveh.
It’s for this exact reason that Kaveh has decided to learn Sumerian Sign Language.

Summary
The kingdom of the east and the kingdom of the west are enemies. They have been for many years now; generation after generation of feud.
The east holds to tradition with a very tight fist, training knights and soldiers. While the west has embraced sorcery and magic into its ranks.
The kingdom of the east one day sends its strongest knights to an undercover mission to steal info from the royal family. However, a small misstep leads them into a compromising position. Having been caught, Akito gets taken hostage in the palace while the rest of the knights retreat back home on strict orders.
This is where our story begins.
