Summary
There were rules to Fuma's surveillance. The first was: don’t engage. His trade was observation. Part of it was, at least. Unless there was a threat, he did not intervene.
The second rule was: don’t overstep. He liked to watch Bora, that dour face, an unapologetic discontent. Yudai, harried and impatient, was endearing at times as well. If Fuma had no willpower, he might follow them in every banal moment of the day.
The third rule: don’t wonder. Bora did not remember him. Yudai had never even laid eyes on him. He was nothing to them.
That was a good thing.

Summary
Jay’s been living with Sunghoon—his best friend, roommate, and certified heartthrob—for two years now. It’s fine. Totally fine. So what if Sunghoon flirts constantly, touches his back like it’s casual, and makes jokes about “if we were dating…”? Jay’s got it under control. (He does not.)
Spoiler: Everyone knows they’re in love. Except Jay.

Summary
“I wonder what happened to you when I wasn't around,” Jay wonders out loud.
Sunghoon turns his hand, palm up, putting it right next to Jay's much smaller ones. He stays silent for a few seconds, then traces the lines on their palms, their heart lines that the palm reader pointed out connecting together like a river, side by side like this.
A minute without Jay feels like a lifetime, two lifetimes without him probably felt like the world had ended, twice.
Sunghoon looks up from their palms, meeting Jay’s curious eyes watching him fondly. Sunghoon doesn't understand how anyone can look at him like that, as if he's something precious and worthy.
“Probably waited for you."

In his first life Sunghoon kills Jay, in this lifetime he is forced to live with the guilt - and the love.
