Summary
He knows which mug she saves for him. He knows the long way she walks home. He knows what she writes when she thinks no one is watching.
Frank Castle came to Milford to disappear. A rural house nine miles into the woods. A corner table at the local bakery. A past soaked in blood that nobody in this sleepy river town will ever learn about.
Then a soft-spoken baker with ink-stained fingers hands him his coffee in a chipped blue mug, and something in him that’s been dead for years opens one eye.
Evangeline Whitcomb is sweet. Proper. Painfully shy. She’s also running from something, and the men in long black coats who’ve started asking about her in town want her back.
Frank will protect her. He’ll kill for her if he has to.
He just won’t tell her that he’s been watching her too.
One coaxing word at a time, he draws her closer, certain he’s the one in control. Certain she’s the lamb and he’s the wolf.
He’s never been more wrong.
Obsession. Devotion. Possession. A dark romance where the only road in is the only road out.

Summary
Frank Castle has built a life that revolves around the idea that he is, eventually, going to die. At 39, he has spent the last 16 years of his life smuggling people as a black-market extractor, specializing in helping people get somewhere without being found. He helps fugitives, witnesses, undocumented people, and individuals escaping dangerous situations. The problem with that kind of lifestyle is that it is unsustainable.
Peyton Tims is a nurse who is, by all accounts, sunshine. Her happiness is as carefully constructed as Frank's roughness, a kindness that she has turned into a career, a life, and a community, brick by brick, careful not to be to others what the world was to her. At 28, she has it all figured out. The tools, the therapy, the communication. What years of working through her past did not prepare her for was a man who has been more forged than born.
Or: sunshine meets thunderstorm. Sunshine is also a biting, mean bitch with teeth, and we love her.
AU/OoC Frank Castle.

Summary
Shiv moved to New York almost a year ago to change her life. Frank Castle ends up on her doorway and suddenly everything falls into place… and falls apart.
"Two weeks away. You come back bloodstained," I nudge to the toe of his boot, splattered in blood. "bruised, and who knows what else. I'm not stupid, Frank. There's only one vigilante out there who fits your description and I don't think you'd fit into a Spidey suit."
I meet my eyes with Frank's, expecting shock, but all I see is a resigned kind of grief.
"And if I am...?" He says quietly.
"The Punisher? I'd be more shocked if you said you weren't."Bookmarked by ali_ila
