Yoojin had never truly regretted it.
Well, not quite. He had reconsidered it the first time, and the second time, and the third time and the many, many times after that. But it just paid so well, too well for him to ever consider seriously stopping. So he’d simply grit his teeth and got it along with and soon it just became another kind of normal, just another job in a string of taxing and thankless jobs that he could disassociate mid-way through the second he got on his back. There was no use regretting it and feeling sorry for himself, he’d thought, not when it allowed him to keep paying rent, to buy groceries, to keep Yoohyun safe and happy and well-fed.

“I mean you kidnapped me, Sung Hyunjae, and if you just wanted a blood bag my neck would be significantly sorer than it is right now. You brought me here for a reason - start talking,” Han Yoojin demanded.

Summary
Fear Resistance is Yoojin's mental lifeline. Being surrounded by S class hunters every day as an F class, he ought to have a great mental condition or else he won’t even be able to stand, let alone face all those crazy people. Yoojin has experiences being around some of them while his Fear Resistance was dropped to C class thanks to Song Taewon; that event was not good for his mental health. Yerim had also subdue him once with the great presence of an L class. As an F class, without Fear Resistance, he would just be a mere shrimp in the vast sea.
That’s why Yoojin doesn’t want to turn it off ever again when he’s outside. It’s only safe to turn off in the safety of his house, and Yoohyun.
But shit, Hyunjae always got something on him.
