Aether nodded. “What about it?”
“Well, there’s been another question I’ve had in my mind all day. A question I’d like to answer through this series of experiments I plan on conducting with you.”
Aether’s eyebrows furrowed slightly. “...and what’s that?”
Albedo smirked.
“When a homunculus birthed from chalk and a traveler from another world attempt to breed, to create life,” he murmured, dragging his lips slowly across Aether’s neck, “I wonder what you get?”
