Summary
If they ever shared an intimate kiss, he’d think Chuuya would taste like acid all the way down. Caustic and torturous. They weren’t meant to ever play nice with one another, but it didn’t stop Dazai from imagining and longing for what could’ve been had their circumstances been different. Had Chuuya ever expressed genuine interest in him.
Dazai does not understand what's so wrong about wanting what everyone has, and why it's so difficult for him to have even just a piece of something a little nice in life. He's been chasing his own meaning to life for years now, and he still comes up empty.
