He is just starting his new job as a Detective at the NYPD. The day before starting his job, he visits a cafe that is just down from his house and meets the beautiful barista, Magnus.
After briefly meeting Magnus, Alec is hooked and returns to the cafe almost every day. Isabelle and Max get curious and do some detective work of their own.
