johnny rose loves his children, he always has. but he was just too busy, too preoccupied, to be the father they needed. so he delegated the task of raising them to nannies and assistances, thinking that one day he would have time to step up and be a real dad.
but one day kept getting pushed back and pushed back and pushed back until one day david and alexis were grown and they didn't need a dad. and then they lost their money and he was able to get to know who his children had become without his help. but he could never shake the feeling that he had failed them somehow.
one late night conversation with clint brewer makes johnny realize he might not be the only father who carries guilt.
