The other man – a bit more compact, definitely Japanese-Canadian (or Japanese-American?) with his dark hair and a gentle smile – walks up. “Rozanov, at least get through introductions, would you?”
“Fuck off, Hollander. I am talking to my good friend Patrick.” But the blond man – Rozanov? – sets Patrick down with a grin, brushing imaginary dust off one of his shoulders. “Boring.”
“Ignore him, please. You must be David? I’m Shane.”
Patrick smiles. “This is my husband David Rose. David, this is Shane Hollander and Ilya Rozanov. They’ve won, like… 10 Stanley Cups. I’m helping them set up a foundation.”

So this story, is, a lot. The idea starts off as what if Stevie and David, in a time of finding randoms, find eachother. In this they find their own love story, until 9 years later, tragedy strikes during a robbery at the apothecary, and David’s world as he knows it falls apart, until, of course, he builds it back up again.
This is a story about making things work, about love, and grief. Falling in love, grieving, loving again, and being kept together by things and people you least expected.
Please read my notes, some of these parts can be incredibly triggering, and you don’t need them to read the rest, but they are there. Patrick and David don’t come into play until I think Chapter 25
Yes, they do have a kid. And I understand the hesitancy in wanting to read that again this, saga, essentially, is so much. But, watching him and Alexis, him in general, I think if he had too, he’d be a great parent, this explores that. She is vital to the story don’t read if it isn’t your vibe.
Also, Time warped. Beginning of s2 happens in s1, David makes it to NY, 5 months later he comes back, the motel deal between Stevie and Johnny has already gone through but the apothecary comes in later, and we go from there. AU -
