Summary
After nearly ruining her reputation, Eloise Bridgerton arrives at Romney Hall bearing grim news, only for Phillip Crane to mistake her for Marina Thompson, the beloved of his brother George.
Although wounded, George is very much alive. Taking advantage of Phillip's confusion, he proposes a plan to help Eloise with her current ordeal: a fake betrothed so she can safely stay at Romney Hall under his aunt's chaperonage. Eloise accepts the arrangement, but she does not count on an unexpected complication: finding herself deeply intrigued by George's introverted brother.
(Regency Romance AU very loosely inspired by the movie While You Were Sleeping)

Summary
Eloise Bridgerton doesn't do children, summer programmes, or men with complicated domestic situations. Phillip Crane is all three. His twins have a reputation for chaos and a habit of lying about every adult in their lives. Eloise was supposed to hand them off and go back to her cataloguing. She was not supposed to find him attractive. She was definitely not supposed to give him her number.

Summary
In the midst of a personal and professional crisis, Dr. Phillip Crane meets the enigmatic Eloise Bridgerton, who presents him with an intriguing proposal: Help her find a mythological flower that is said to heal anything, even death.
The trail leads Phillip and his charming partner straight into danger, including clandestine deals, a mentor who may or may not be dead, a ruthless rival firm who will stop at nothing to get what they want, and something with too many legs creeping in the dark.
Even though he'd much rather be buried in research than dodging bullets, Phillip soon finds himself on the run from things better left unnamed, and maybe falling for the one woman who's probably just using him.
With his mentor's fate in his hands and the world's most valuable plant on the line (not to mention an epic custody battle with a spiteful ex-wife), Phillip finds that the line between hero, fool, and becoming something's lunch is shockingly thin.
