Tine cradles the microphone in his hands like it is something precious, like it is sacred. And it’s this microphone that carries his gentle voice through the bar, through Sarawat’s ears, straight into his beating heart. Tine feels every single note of the song. Every word of it plays out on his face, and that is what attracts Sarawat to him, more than the high cheek bones, more than the long limbs, more than the triangle of skin peaking out from between his shirt lapels.
Every Saturday, Man, Boss, Earn, and Sarawat play Karaoke Roulette, a game where they each pick a song, write it on a slip of paper, and draw the songs out of a hat to determine who sings what. After Sarawat falls in love with the boy who sings a Scrubb song, he begs Boss to switch songs with him so that Sarawat can sing Scrubb and impress his dream boy. But Boss won't let him switch that easily.

Summary
Iruka’s sense of self-awareness has never been his strongest suit.
“Good afternoon Iruka-sensei.” he greeted. Kakashi turned to the back of the room. “A busy day in the mission room I see.” The silence was deafening. “There are some reconstruction projects near the Forest of Death that could use some extra manpower. Anyone keen?”.
In all his years in the mission room, Iruka had never seen a room clear out that fast.

“You know, you talk a lot of shit for someone with such soft, kissable lips.”
Kakashi, to his credit, looks as surprised as Iruka feels, although Iruka’s inner monologue points out with no small amount of acidity that Kakashi is the one swearing in the mission room (talking about kissing, in the mission room!) while Iruka is the one who has been interrupted in the midst of delivering a long-overdue, well-deserved chewing out. Only one of them is really justified in being surprised.(rated for some swears and mentions of, like, the indisputable in-universe fact that we're up here killing children)
